Thinktank Science Museum
Enjoy a 360-degree view into astrology. Find out what happens to the food that you eat everyday. The Smethwick Engine which is over 230 years old resides here. It is also the world’s oldest steam engine and pumped one tonne of water every stroke which is the equivalent of 1500 buckets of water every minute. Thinktank also has some incredible pieces of jewellery that has been made in Birmingham and check this out, in 1914, there were 800,000 people living here in Birmingham and 50,000 of those were employed in the jewellery making business. National Sea Life Centre
Dive into a deep marine adventure…. Million litre underwater tank! Now that’s impressive! Over a thousand creatures! Even more impressive! Sharks, giant turtles, otters, sea horses, jelly fish and many, many more types of sea creatures. You can also feed some of the animals too, so make the most out of your trip. Located within Birmingham City Centre.

Birmingham Library
The Library of Birmingham isn’t just filled with hundreds and hundreds of books, the exterior alone makes you think ‘WOW’! Check out the incredible view of Birmingham from 51 metres above street level on Skyline Viewpoint. Many events and exhibitions take place here too. So much more than just a library wouldn’t you say?
